Jigsimur was established in 1998 after the founder was diagnosed with cancer and wanted to take a natural approach to recovery.
He remembered an old recipe that belonged to his late grandmother that contained Aloe and mixed his very first bottle of what is known today as Jigsimur. After 11 months he was cancer free.
A year later Jigsimur was bottled in empty brandy bottles and labels were printed on an old “home” printer and sold locally in George at Van Rensburg butchery and Golden Harvest.
